Pier Smith

Pier Smith is currently the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director at BlackRock, a role they have held since 2018. Prior to this, Pier worked as an Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner at Russell Reynolds Associates from 2013 to 2016 and served as the Executive Administrator at Simeone Deary Design Group from 2016 to 2018. Pier has also held various positions including Exec. Assistant to the Chief of Staff at Harpo Inc. and a Teaching Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where they introduced students to documentary making. Pier earned a B.A. in Comparative Women's Studies from Spelman College, graduating in 2006.
