Preetha S.

Preetha S. is a computational physicist currently serving as Vice President at BlackRock since 2026. They previously held the position of Associate, Data Science at BlackRock from 2022 to 2026 and were an Artificial Intelligence Fellow at Insight Data Science in 2020, where they developed an interactive web application using GANs and machine learning. Preetha completed a Ph.D. in Computational Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Virginia, where they conducted research on Monte Carlo simulations and applied machine learning techniques. They hold a BS-MS degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali, completed in 2015.
