Ryan Belz

Ryan Belz, CPA, is currently a Vice President on the Alternative Investments Fund Controller team at BlackRock in New York City, focusing on Diversified Infrastructure private equity funds. Previously, Ryan worked as a Manager in Audit and Assurance at Deloitte's Toronto office, primarily serving insurance and financial institution clients. Ryan began their career after completing a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting at the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, where they also contributed as a varsity athlete on the baseball team. Ryan has gained extensive experience in both reporting issuers and private corporations through several co-op terms and various roles at Deloitte, culminating in the acquisition of their CPA designation in October 2019.
