Sonia Rocher

Sonia Rocher is a Managing Director and Lead Portfolio Manager for European Private Credit at BlackRock, where they have worked since 2015. With over 18 years of experience, Sonia specializes in originating, underwriting, and monitoring senior secured loans across Europe, while also leading efforts in sustainability and ESG integration within private credit. Sonia is a founding member of the European Private Debt platform and serves on the board of the Alternative Credit Council, actively participating in industry discussions regarding the intersection of private debt and sustainability. Prior to their role at BlackRock, Sonia spent a decade at RBS in leveraged finance and began their career at Société Générale in M&A and leveraged finance.
