Steven C. is the Vice President and lead for iShares Wealth Asia ex Japan at BlackRock. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada, they graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics. Steven's interests in innovative finance solutions and philanthropy were shaped by their experiences as a national-level competitive swimmer and in leadership roles within various student organizations at UBC, notably raising over CAN$ 13,000 to build a primary school in Ethiopia while serving as Chairman of Philanthropy at Kappa Sigma Fraternity. They also participated in Harvard Business School's HBX CORe Program after being selected through BlackRock's Graduate Analyst Class of 2018 and gained valuable experience through internships at BlackRock and Hang Seng Bank.
