Steven Cornet

Steven Cornet has extensive experience in real estate economics and fund management. At CoStar Group from October 2004 to August 2007, Steven developed a research service to evaluate investment opportunities in European and US real estate markets, presented findings at conferences, published articles, and produced quarterly market reports. At BlackRock, from April 2018 to July 2022, Steven held multiple roles including Lead Fund Manager for Global Core Equity, where strategies and investment opportunities were set for a global equity SMA, and Head of U.S. Research & Strategy, leading investment strategies and risk analytics. Additionally, Steven served as Lead Fund Manager for a Eurozone Core Property Fund, overseeing investment strategies and asset management in European markets, and as Vice President of Research & Strategy, forecasting market performance for various sectors. Prior experience includes roles at Jones Lang LaSalle and ING Real Estate, where Steven evaluated and underwrote acquisition opportunities across various property types. Steven holds a Master's degree in Regional Economics from the Universiteit van Amsterdam.
