Stuart Symonds

Stuart Symonds is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Tactical Solutions at BlackRock since July 2006, following the continuation of this role from BGI. Previously, Stuart held the position of Global Head of Tactical Solutions at The Bank of New York, where responsibilities included serving as Tactical Development Manager and an Excel & Access VBA Developer. Additionally, experience includes roles at Glencore as an Excel VBA Developer, ING Barings as a Business Analyst, Norwich Union Insurance as an Underwriting Analyst, AXA as a Risk Analyst, and Jardine Lloyd Thompson as a Risk Analyst in the Special Risks Division. Stuart holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Brighton, earned between 1994 and 1998.
