Ted Bohlman

Ted Bohlman is an accomplished professional in insurance risk management with extensive experience in various leadership roles across prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as a Director at BlackRock since June 2012, Bohlman oversees insurance risk management. Previously, Bohlman was a Senior Vice President at MF Global, where the insurance risk management department was established, managing multiple global insurance programs and claims. Prior to that, Bohlman held the Vice President position at JPMorgan Chase, overseeing insurance for substantial investment portfolios, and also served as Assistant Vice President in the same company. Earlier career stages included roles at Marsh, where Bohlman progressed from Risk Analyst to Assistant Vice President, leading client strategy sessions and analyzing risk exposures. Bohlman earned a Bachelor of Arts in German Literature from Colgate University in 1999.
