Timothy McDade

Timothy McDade currently serves as a Director in Economics and Data Science at BlackRock and is a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations. Previous experience includes a tenure as a Data Scientist at Microsoft, where contributions led to significant revenue growth for Microsoft Azure China, and earlier roles as a Program Manager in a prestigious college rotation program. Timothy’s academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Mathematics and Chinese Language & Literature from William & Mary, along with studies at Tsinghua University. Research work involved modeling oyster repopulation in the Chesapeake Bay.
