Tom Barron

Tom Barron is currently the Vice President of BlackRock Active Investment Stewardship, a role they have held since 2025. Previously, they worked as a Senior Associate focused on Responsible Investment at Columbia Threadneedle Investments from 2022 to 2025. Tom's earlier experience includes positions as a Sustainability & ESG Analyst at Impax Asset Management and an Analyst on Environmental Issues at Principles for Responsible Investment. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology (First Class Honours) from the University of Bristol and a Master of Science in Emerging Economies and International Development (Distinction) from King's College London.
