Tom Carr

Tom Carr is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in product management and strategic leadership. Currently serving as Vice President at BlackRock since March 2025, Tom previously held various senior roles at Preqin from November 2010 to March 2025, including Senior Product Manager, Head of Private Debt, and Head of Real Assets. In these positions, Tom was instrumental in developing product solutions and strategies that drove revenue growth and enhanced Preqin’s offerings in private debt and real assets. Additionally, Tom served as a Non-Executive Board Member and Trustee for the Uganda Marathon from October 2018 to February 2025, contributing to fundraising efforts for community causes. Tom holds a BSc in International Relations from the University of Southampton and A levels in Politics, Economics, and History from Godalming College.
