Vanessa Field

Vanessa Field has extensive experience in compliance and regulatory roles within the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Head of Compliance at BlackRock since August 2022, Vanessa previously held positions such as Regulatory Compliance at BlackRock and Compliance Advisory for Alternative Income Solutions at Aviva Investors. Prior to these roles, Vanessa worked at Brooks Macdonald as a Senior Compliance Specialist on a contract basis. Vanessa's earlier career included significant roles at Principal Global Investors, where responsibilities included product management and leading compliance efforts across European affiliates. Vanessa began a legal career at BT Financial Group, ensuring compliance with superannuation legislation. Vanessa holds a BComm in Marketing and an LLB from the University of New South Wales and a Compliance Diploma from the International Compliance Association.
