Wayne Fitzgerald

Wayne Fitzgerald is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in managing equity and fixed income operations. As a Managing Director at BlackRock since January 2010, Wayne oversees day-to-day operations while supporting strategy, product development, and technology initiatives. Wayne previously served as Managing Director at Helix Financial from June 2006 to January 2010 and held the position of Vice President at Wachovia Securities from March 2004 to May 2006, where the focus was on securitization of commercial mortgage loans. Earlier career experience includes an Associate role at Cadwalader Wickersham and Taft from November 2000 to June 2003. Education includes a JD in Law from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1996-1999) and a BA in History from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (1995-1996).
