Blacksheep Vietnam is an adaptable engineering and product development team based in Hanoi, built on more than 20 years of advanced science and engineering expertise.

Founded by Mark Gilligan who previously built Blacktrace Holdings over two decades, one of the UK's leading advanced science and engineering groups, including Dolomite Microfluidics and Particle Works. Blacksheep Vietnam brings that same depth of capability to Vietnam's rapidly transforming manufacturing ecosystem.

We specialise in three technically demanding areas: electric vehicles and powertrain systems, scientific & laboratory equipment, and medical devices.

Our services span three areas: product development, manufacturing services, and market access services.
We work with companies who need complex, high-precision products developed and manufactured properly in small volumes, to exacting standards and companies who need a partner understands both the engineering and the Vietnamese supply chain to manage the full process from the inside.

The most visible proof of what the team can do is the Blacksheep ONE - a high-performance electric motorbike with a motor, battery architecture, power electronics, cooling system, and control systems, all designed and manufactured entirely in Vietnam from scratch. We provide end-to-end solutions, from product development and engineering services to manufacturing and supply chain consulting, for companies with advanced engineering products.
