Alex Tan

Alex Tan is a seasoned professional in the geospatial and engineering sectors with extensive experience in sales and business development. Currently serving as the Regional Sales Manager for Southeast Asia at BlackSky since August 2023, Alex previously held key sales positions at Oracle as a Senior Area Sales Manager and at DigitalGlobe as a Regional Sales Manager for Southeast Asia. Alex also contributed to ACONEX (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. as a Business Development Manager and managed Regional Segment sales at Intergraph SG&I / ERDAS. Earlier roles include General Manager at Geo Spatial Solutions Sdn. Bhd. and various positions focusing on Leica Geosystems products at Espatial Resources Sdn. Bhd. Alex holds a Master of Engineering Science in Remote Sensing from Multimedia University and a Bachelor of Science in Remote Sensing from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
