Arthur Shune

Arthur Shune is a Senior Constellation Systems Engineer at BlackSky, beginning in November 2023. Previously, Arthur held the position of Principal Mission Design and Navigation Engineer at Phantom Space from November 2021 to November 2023, leading satellite constellation and launch vehicle design and directing navigation system implementation. Arthur's earlier roles include Lead GNC Engineer and GNC Engineer at Phantom Space, where leadership was demonstrated in various mission designs and propulsion control systems for the Daytona launch vehicle. Prior experience includes serving as Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer and Machine Learning Engineer at Raytheon Missiles & Defense, and as an Astronautical Engineer at Space Systems Research Lab. Arthur also served as a Satellite Operator in the United States Air Force from June 2015 to May 2019. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an ongoing Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology.
