Christopher "Ox" Oxendine, PhD, is a GIS expert and operations leader with significant experience in defense and intelligence. Currently serving as the Principal Solutions Engineer at BlackSky, Ox previously held leadership roles at Esri and within the US Army, where they integrated geospatial intelligence into strategic military operations. With a PhD in Earth Systems and Geoinformation Sciences from George Mason University, Ox has also contributed to academia as an assistant professor and director of the Center for Environmental & Geographic Sciences at West Point. Their work focuses on building partnerships, teamwork, and advancing geospatial technologies to address complex national security challenges.
