Mike S.

Mike S. currently serves as the Senior Director of International Relations and Strategic Engagement at BlackSky, where they focus on international strategy. Previously, they worked as a Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State from 2016 to 2025 and served as a Senior External Relations Representative at Lockheed Martin from 2014 to 2016. Mike also has a background in public affairs and communications from their time in the United States Marine Corps from 2003 to 2009. They are an Executive MBA candidate at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and have pursued a BA in International Relations and Political Science at UC San Diego, along with a Public Affairs and Journalism Certification from the Defense Information School.
