Nic Gaudio is a highly experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as Lead Engineer (Staff) and Flight Director at BlackSky since February 2019. Responsibilities include managing operations for a satellite constellation, overseeing on-orbit maintenance activities, and directing project work within the Space Operations team. Previously, Nic held roles as a Senior and Constellation Operations Engineer, focusing on the development of operational tools for Earth observation satellites and leading commercial operations and satellite commissioning. Before joining BlackSky, Nic worked at Aerojet Rocketdyne from July 2013 to February 2019 as a Project Engineer and Supplier Quality Engineer, contributing to thruster testing and inventory management solutions. Nic holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has also studied Aerospace Engineering and Physics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
