Chris Ney currently serves in a role at Blackstone Private Equity, a position held since January 2021. Previously, Chris founded and led Magnitude Software as Chairman and CEO from 2015 to 2020, and co-founded Upland Software, serving as President and COO from 2010 to 2014. Chris was also the CEO of Versata while at Trilogy from 2008 to 2010 and founded CoreTrac, Inc., serving as Chairman and CEO from 2001 to 2008. Earlier career highlights include founding ProFinancial Group, Inc., holding the title of Chairman and CEO from 1995 to 1998, and working as an Investment Banker at UBS and Lehman Brothers from 1990 to 1995. Chris holds a BA in Economics from Texas A&M University and has obtained various General Securities Principal licenses.
