David J. Corey

David J. Corey is a Senior Managing Director, having joined Strategic Partners in 2001. Mr. Corey sits on the Investment Committee for each of the Strategic Partners funds and is an advisory board member of multiple funds. Since 2005, Mr. Corey has led Strategic Partners’ western U.S. operations in San Francisco.

Prior to joining Strategic Partners, Mr. Corey worked as an attorney in the mergers and acquisitions departments at Davis Polk & Wardwell and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York and Los Angeles.

Mr. Corey received a B.A. cum laude in History from Northwestern University, where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D. from the UC Berkeley School of Law, where he was a member of the California Law Review and a multiple Jurisprudence Award recipient.
