Henry K.

Henry K. currently serves as Vice President of Portfolio Cybersecurity at Blackstone, a position held since April 2022, where responsibilities include advising CISOs, CEOs, and CTOs on cybersecurity best practices to mitigate cyber incidents and financial losses. Henry is also a member of the organizing committee for Kernelcon, a significant computer security conference in Omaha, NE, contributing to the smooth operations of the event, which attracts over 600 attendees. Previously, Henry worked as a Security Researcher at SecureWorks from July 2015 to April 2022, focused on enhancing customer security through intelligence applications within the Counter Threat Unit™. Additionally, Henry served as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, teaching courses related to cybersecurity from January 2015 to December 2017. Prior to this, Henry worked as a Computer Scientist for the U.S. Government from July 2006 to July 2015. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, completed in 2006.
