Matt Katz

Matt Katz is an Operating Partner and the Head of Data Science for Blackstone. In this capacity, he leads Blackstone’s team of data scientists and collaborates with Blackstone’s business units to leverage advanced data analytics and statistical modeling. His team is also an important resource for Blackstone deal teams during the investment process and for portfolio company management teams focused on operational improvements. He is additionally on the Blackstone Charitable Foundation Leadership Council.

Before joining Blackstone in 2015, he was a Vice President at Point72 Asset Management where he helped to build and run their big data business. Mr. Katz began his career at Credit Suisse.

Mr. Katz graduated with honors from Princeton University with a BA in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Environmental Studies.
