Atul Arya

Atul Arya has a solid work experience in various roles and positions. Atul is currently the Founder and CEO of Blackstraw.ai since March 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Nielsen for 4 years, starting as an Associate Director in March 2014 and then progressing to Director and Vice President roles. At Nielsen, they led AI and Machine Learning teams focusing on retail data collection, owned product development using techniques such as Image Recognition and Augmented Reality, and managed a global team of experts in data labeling, deep learning, and software development. Before their time at Nielsen, Atul worked at Tata Consultancy Services for 9 years, holding various roles including Developer, Analyst, and Program Manager.

Atul Arya began their education at D.A.V Chennai in 1989 and continued until 1996. From 1996 to 1997, they attended S.N. Kansagra. In 1997, they enrolled at Maheshwari Public School and spent one year there. In 1998, Atul attended Rajhans Vidyalaya for one year. From 1999 to 2001, they studied at D.G.Ruparel College, though the specific degree and field of study are not provided. In 2001, they transferred to Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere - Raigad, where they pursued a degree in Engineering with a focus on Electrical studies. Finally, Atul attended Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute Matunga Mumbai 400 019 from 2002 to 2005, where they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical Engineering.
