Matthew Bookspan began their career in 1994 as a Technical Writer at Advent Software. Matthew then joined Microsoft as a Senior Program Manager, working on Windows 95 and writing Online Help for the multimedia tools. In 2003, they moved to Electronic Arts as a Development Director. In 2005, they joined Pluck as Director of Product Management, managing the go-to-market, product roadmap and vision for the Pluck RSS Reader product line. Matthew also shipped five releases of the RSS Readers, grew the user base by 33% and grew unique visitors by 50%, while managing the User Experience and Support teams. Later that same year, Matthew joined Attensa as Director of Product Management, defining the go-to-market strategy and product roadmap, and shaping the overall product vision. In 2007, they were recruited by Cisco as Director of Engineering in the Media Solutions Group, to help build a new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) social networking platform. In 2008, they joined Salesforce.com as Director of Product Management for Salesforce Ideas, focusing on the customer and being responsible for the roadmap of the Salesforce CRM Ideas Product Line. In 2009, they took on the role of Director of Product Management at Voxeo, helping to grow the main product line and develop new lines of business. Finally, in 2010, Matthew became CEO of Blacktip, providing discovery, strategy and planning, leading the implementation of strategic projects, and being intimately involved in all business relationships.

Matthew Bookspan obtained a BA in English from the University of California, Berkeley between 1989 and 1993. Matthew has since obtained numerous certifications from various institutions, including Apple, Cisco Meraki, Ivanti, Clio, ConnectWise, and Marketcircle.
