Fred O'Connor

Fred O'Connor is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Customer Pipeline for Blackwoods LINK since June 2019, and previously as the Head of Supply at Mega Mining. Prior to their current role, O'Connor worked at Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety from January 2014 to May 2019 as the National Category Manager, overseeing the marketing program for welding, abrasives, and fasteners. O'Connor also held the position of National Dealer Channel Manager at Kemppi Oy from December 2011 to April 2013, where revenue and profit objectives were successfully exceeded. Earlier career experiences include working as the National Account Manager at Thermadyne from 2006 to 2009 and as the Business Development/National Sales Manager for Independent Wholesale Welding Supplies from 2002 to 2006, focusing on sales and marketing activities across Australia. O'Connor holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Newcastle and a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of New England.
