Marek Prachar

Marek Prachar is an experienced leader in data and software engineering, currently serving as the Head of Data & Software Engineering at Blackwoods since August 2022, managing a team of over 60 across various domains with a budget exceeding $5 million. Previously, Marek held the position of Head of Business Intelligence at Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety from August 2017 to August 2022, as well as at Staples Australia Pty Limited from June 2001 to February 2017, where responsibilities included leading teams in delivering business intelligence solutions utilizing SAP and Microsoft tools. Additional roles at Staples included Application Infrastructure Manager and Analyst Programmer. Marek holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management from VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, earned between 1993 and 1997.
