David Rivera

David Rivera is a seasoned finance professional with a robust background in trading and portfolio management. Currently serving as VP of Coberturas y Gestión de Portafolios at Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior S.A. (Bladex) since May 2023, David previously held the position of FX and Derivatives Head Trader at Banco de Bogotá from August 2019 to May 2023. Additional notable roles include VP Trader at Banco Santander, Valuation Committee Member at Precia PPV S.A, and extensive experience as Head Trader of Divisas y Derivados at Banco de Bogotá. David has also contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor and lecturer at Universidad del Rosario and Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración. David holds a Magister in Economics and an undergraduate degree in Economics, both from Universidad del Rosario. David is also accredited as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds a Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF).
