Felipe Suarez

Felipe Suarez is an experienced finance professional with a focus on loan structuring and syndications in Latin America. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Loan Structuring & Syndications at BLADEX since June 2013, Felipe Suarez specializes in the origination, structuring, distribution, and execution of acquisition financing and syndicated loan transactions for various financial sponsors and corporate clients. Prior to this role, Felipe Suarez held positions at Standard Americas, Inc. as Vice President and Associate, where responsibilities included similar transaction oversight across multiple industry segments. Early career experience includes serving as an Investment Banking Analyst at Corficolombiana, managing extensive corporate finance projects. Felipe Suarez holds an MBA in Finance from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, complemented by executive education in negotiating skills from London Business School.
