Jonathan Luis

Jonathan Luis has extensive experience in the field of international trade and finance. Currently serving as Analista II Back Office Cartas de Crédito at BLADEX since June 2019, responsibilities include managing the openings, amendments, and cancellations of import and export Letters of Credit. Prior to this role, Jonathan worked at MetroBank, S.A. as an Analista de Cartas de Crédito y Cobranzas from October 2014 to June 2019, and at Global Bank as both an Asistente de comercio internacional and an Oficinista de operaciones, where tasks included client communications and document verification in collaboration with compliance departments. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's degree in Comercio Internacional y Logística from Universidad Latina de Panamá (2018-2022) and a Diploma in Bilingual Education from Instituto Panamericano (2005-2011).
