Valmir Passos

Valmir Passos began their career as an Analyst at Banco Itaú in 1988 and later worked as an Analyst at Banco Francês e Brasileiro. Valmir then became an Analyst Senior at Lloyds Bank before moving on to Itaú Unibanco, where they worked as a Credit Manager and Regional Credit Manager. Valmir also worked at Banco Santos as a Credit Manager and Banco Santander as a Credit Consultant. Valmir then joined Santander Asset Management as a Credit Manager and later worked at Vector Investimentos as a Credit Officer. Valmir's experience continued at Banco Panamericano as a Credit Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Credit in Brazil at Bladex, where they oversee operations for corporate and large corporate segments and manages a portfolio of $1.5 billion.

Valmir Passos completed their undergraduate studies in Economics at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo from 1987 to 1991. Valmir later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Financial Management at Fundação Getúlio Vargas from 2007 to 2009.
