Bert Decrop

Bert Decrop is a Data Software Engineer at BlakBear since November 2023, focusing on enhancing food efficiency. Previously, Bert served as a Cloud Engineer at Crunch Analytics from November 2021 to November 2023, where responsibilities included building reliable ETL pipelines and establishing cloud infrastructure while leading the development of a machine learning-based web application for stock allocation. Prior experience includes co-founding Alernus, a web design company, during university, where Bert developed a custom CMS system for client use. Bert holds a Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering, both from Ghent University.
