Scott Carcillo

Scott Carcillo is the General Manager of Payments at Blankfactor. Scott has over 25 years of experience in the payments industry and has held various leadership positions during their career.

Most recently, they were the Chief Payments Officer, CISO and CIO at Shift4 Payments from September 2019 to October 2021. During their time at Shift4, the company dealt with the pandemic, IPO'd, acquired 6 businesses and grew by ~90% YOY. Scott was instrumental in helping the company mature its Enterprise Account and Partner Management programs, become a processor in the US, strengthen/refine/rebuild the security framework and approach, consolidate the acquisitions into the business, and implement a key set of productivity tools that allowed for the organization to go fully virtual.

Prior to joining Shift4, Scott was the SVP Client Solutions at FreedomPay from June 2018 to September 2019. Before that, they served as the Chief Information Officer at Merchant Link from January 2013 to June 2018. Merchant Link was acquired by Shift4 in 2018.

Scott Carcillo has a Masters in International Business from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School and a BS in Computer Science from The Catholic University of America.
