Carmen Terry, MS, ATC, NBHWC, is an experienced health and wellness professional currently serving as the Health and Wellness Coordinator at BLaST Intermediate Unit #17 since January 2012, where responsibility includes programming for employee health and wellness across eight school districts and Penn College. In addition, Carmen has worked as a Per Diem Athletic Trainer for the UPMC Center for Sports Medicine since September 2001, providing athletic training services at events such as the Little League World Series. Previously, Carmen held the position of Healthcare Advocate at HulseQM Services, Inc. from September 2005 to December 2011, addressing issues between patients, providers, and insurance entities, and was the Health and Safety Director for the Union County Red Cross from April 2002 to August 2006, overseeing health and safety classes and community outreach initiatives. Carmen holds a Master of Science degree in Human Biology from Bucknell University and a Bachelor of Arts degree with dual majors in Biology and Sports Medicine from Adrian College.
