Mark A. Brennan

Mark A. Brennan has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Mark A. began their career in 1997 as a Software Engineer at AirMedia (formerly Ex Machina). In 1998, they moved to Financial Sciences Corporation as a Software Engineer. In 1999, they joined Morgan Stanley as an Associate, where they were a C++ developer and built a component library for a multi-benchmark trading engine. In 2011, they became a Product Manager, Derivatives at Fidessa, where they helped build and socialize a swaps trading strategy, defined and clarified strategic direction for clients and senior management, and demonstrated industry leadership. In 2014, they became the Head of Business Development, Americas at ITRS, where they expanded the strategic product focus into trading and regulatory-based solutions and won media recognition for ITRS through thought leadership. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Mark Brennan Consulting, consulting for clients such as Excelian Luxoft Financial Services and DTCC. In 2020, they became a Data Science Consultant at Treliant, where they evaluated a neural net-based credit risk model for a fintech client for regulatory compliance and successfully benchmarked the model. In 2020, they also became a Data Engineering Fellow at Insight Data Science, where they consulted for the COVID Alliance. In 2021, they joined BlastPoint as a Senior Data Engineer.

Mark A. Brennan completed an Immersive Data Science Bootcamp at the Flatiron School, followed by a M.S. in Computer Science from Pace University, and a B.A. in a Double Major of Music and English Literature from Skidmore College.
