Patrick Pfenning

Patrick Pfenning has a diverse background in data engineering, software engineering, IT programming, and teaching. Patrick most recently worked as a Data Engineer at BlastPoint starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Data Team Consultant and Software Engineer II at VIP (Vermont Information Processing) from February 2020 to January 2023. In these roles, they were responsible for data migration, ETL processes, and development of python applications. From June 2018 to February 2020, Patrick worked as an IT Programmer at Autumn Harp, where they focused on full-stack development using ASP .NET MVC and various programming languages. Prior to their career in software and data engineering, Patrick worked as a Mathematics Teacher, Financial Systems Analyst Co-op, Financial Counseling Intern, Tutor, Private Tutor, and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in different organizations.

Patrick Pfenning's education history begins with their General Honors studies at Rutland High School from 2009 to 2013. Patrick then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Wentworth Institute of Technology, which they completed from 2013 to 2017. Currently, Patrick is furthering their education at the same institute, studying towards a Master of Science degree in Data Science, with an expected completion date in 2023.
