James Petrylka

James Petrylka has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. James currently works as a Content Research Associate at BLDUP, Inc since May 2022. Prior to this, they had a long-term tenure at CoStar Group as a Field Research Photographer from January 2007 to July 2021. Before that, they worked as a Residential Appraiser at Real Estate Appraisal Associates from March 2003 to December 2006. In addition, they held various roles at FOX Sports, including Talent Spotter, starting in December 2002. James also worked as a Communications Coordinator at St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation from 1999 to 2003 and had a significant tenure as Media Relations at Detroit Lions from 1988 to 1998.

James Petrylka obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management and Communications from the University of Michigan, which they attended from 1983 to 1988. In terms of real estate education, they completed the Real Estate Sales Associate Pre-Licensing Course from the Bob Hogue Real Estate School in 2008. James also obtained certifications from various real estate schools, including the USPAP Certification from the Ed Klopfer Schools of Real Estate in 2006, and Real Estate Appraisal AB II and AB I from the Cooke Real Estate School in 2005 and 2004 respectively. Additionally, they have acquired multiple online certifications in fields such as self-improvement, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, leadership, and photography from LinkedIn, with most of them being obtained in June 2021.
