Lakia Holmes

Lakia Holmes is a Senior Producer of Diversified Sports Content at Bleacher Report & Turner Sports, where they leverage their extensive media experience to create impactful narratives. Previously, Lakia served in various roles at Major League Baseball and held internships with the New York Mets and ESPN, contributing significantly to community programs and event coverage. In addition to their media career, Lakia is a Fertility Empowerment Coach and IVF advocate, passionately supporting women—especially Black women—on their reproductive journeys. Having become a single mom by choice, they utilize their personal experience to foster conversations around solo motherhood and reproductive equity. Lakia holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from St. John's University and a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Brigham Young University.
