Joan Taylor

Joan Taylor, CHRE, is an accomplished leader in human resources with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently a Founding Member at Blend, Joan fosters collaboration among visionary leaders from enterprise organizations. Previously, Joan served as Senior Vice President of Culture Talent Diversity at Heart & Stroke, where strategic advisory roles and organizational design initiatives were key responsibilities. Joan’s prior roles include Vice President of People & Culture at United Way Greater Toronto, where organizational development and HR strategy were emphasized, and Vice President and Head of Human Resources at Solutions 2 GO Inc., focusing on global HR programs. Joan's career includes significant achievements at Cineplex, from Executive Director of Human Resources to other leadership positions, through which strategic talent management and cultural enhancement initiatives were successfully implemented. Joan holds an Hon. B.A. from the University of Toronto Scarborough and multiple HR-related certifications, including CHRP and advanced behavioral assessment training from The McQuaig Institute.
