Brian Kent

Brian Kent serves as the Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Lead at Blend since February 2024, overseeing financial reporting efforts and contributing as a subject matter expert in technical accounting while managing automation initiatives. Concurrently, Brian holds the position of Yoga & Meditation Instructor at Santosha School and is an active member of the Board of Directors at Gift of Water, Inc., where responsibilities include discussing strategic objectives and delivering financial results. Previously, Brian gained extensive experience in assurance at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) and EY, where significant contributions included transforming audit tool certification processes and developing frameworks for assessing risks related to blockchain technologies. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and has also studied at the Universidad de Sevilla.
