Ayush Rajput is a skilled data scientist with extensive experience in developing data-driven solutions and recommendations. As a Lead Data Scientist at Blend since August 2021, Ayush developed a matrix factorization-based recommendation engine that improved click-through rates by 5% through the integration of historical web visit data. Previously, Ayush contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where a navigation system for autonomous underwater vehicles was created, including the implementation of various control systems. Earlier roles include providing insights on customer behavior at Saras Analytics, supporting project management in supply chain analysis at FLSmidth, and conducting research on water jet peening at the Czech Academy of Sciences. Ayush holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Dhanbad.
