Sezer

Cem Sezer has several years of work experience in various roles and industries. Cem is currently working as a Country Manager at EnglishScore, where they represent the British Council's new mobile English test in the EMEA and Asia regions. Additionally, they serve as the Head of Business Development for Blenheim Chalcot, a technology partner and owner of EnglishScore, representing the brand in Türkiye.

Before their current roles, Cem worked at Pearson, where they held several positions including Country Sales Manager and Sales and Regional Development Manager, managing sales and business development activities for Pearson's Workforce Skills qualifications and edtech products in Turkey.

Cem also has experience in the banking industry, having worked as a Card Operations Analyst at Türkiye İş Bankası, where they handled VISA and Mastercard transaction disputes.

Cem's earlier roles include an internship in sales and business development at Scania Group, as well as a position as an Organization Team Member at Bahcesehir University. Cem also worked as a Sales and Fashion Advisor at Massimo Dutti Stores.

Cem Sezer holds a Master Level Education degree in European Studies/Civilization from the University of Gothenburg, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Economics in English at Istanbul University from 2007 to 2012. In addition, they have obtained certifications in English Language Proficiency from EnglishScore in September 2022, IELTS Academic UKVI from the British Council in November 2022, and Business English Skills from the London School of Commerce in Valletta, Malta in 2018.
