BlindianProject is a cultural platform exploring the intersections of Black and South Asian histories and solidarities.

Founded by Ugandan-American interdisciplinary artist and cultural architect Jonah Batambuze, the project brings together art, research, and public dialogue to examine how histories of colonialism, migration, and resistance continue to shape contemporary life.

Through film, writing, installations, and public convenings, BlindianProject explores how memory travels through everyday practices — food, gesture, ritual, and storytelling — long before it reaches formal archives.

Operating at the intersection of contemporary art, public humanities, and diasporic studies, the platform creates spaces where artists, scholars, and communities can think together about shared histories and futures.

BlindianProject’s work and commentary have appeared in international publications including BBC World News, The Washington Post, Psychology Today, Art Africa, and The Times of India.

Based between London and New York, the project collaborates with cultural institutions, universities, and creative communities worldwide.
