Benjamin Wiegand is the Co-Founder and CTO of blindmate, a dating platform where friends swipe for each other. Previously, Benjamin worked as an Open Source-Entwickler at Linien – Laser Frequency Stabilization, where Benjamin developed an FPGA-based application for laser frequency stabilization. Benjamin also served as a PHD Student at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, focusing on laser systems for spectroscopy and atom interferometry experiments, as well as developing a single-laser magneto-optical trap using fast frequency jumps. Benjamin holds a Master of Science in Physik from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
