Blink Foundation is an organization working for children with SLD. Over the years, we have screened 15,000 children and given remediation support to 600 children. 

We were incubated by IIM Bengaluru’s NSRCEL and funded by Capgemini, HDFC and Emphasis. Our aim is that all children with SLD should be identified early and provided remediation before the age of 10. 

Typically, children with SLD are only identified in big cities where they have access to remediation labs and special educators. 

Even those having this kind of support were minuscule in number- the reasons being the paucity of special educators and the high costs associated.

Blink Foundation uses a SaaS-based Ed-tech platform called DLearners that promotes early identification, awareness, and sensitization on Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and other academic gaps. 

DLearners has a suite of applications catering to teachers, parents, and children. The platform provides a screening tool that helps identify children at risk of learning difficulties early. 

Post identification, the children are provided game-based multi-sensorial intervention in web/app-based formats and learning aids to help them read, spell and write better.
