John Calder

John Calder is an experienced professional with a strong background in supply chain management and procurement. Currently serving as Chair of the Board of Trustees and Board Trustee for Bliss, the UK's leading charity for premature or sick babies, John has also held the position of Partner at Baringa Partners since 2015, leading the Supply Chain & Procurement practice. John's extensive experience includes roles such as Supply Chain Design Lead for the NHS during the Covid vaccine rollout and Senior Manager at Accenture, where responsibilities included leading global people logistics management services. Prior roles feature significant contributions at BASF, Shell, Tullow Oil, ConocoPhillips, YPF SA, and Decom North Sea, with a focus on designing and implementing supply chain transformations and strategies across various sectors. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management Studies from the University of Bradford.
