Daniel Prawitt

Daniel Prawitt has an extensive work history in various engineering roles. Daniel began their career as an Elevator Maintenance Assistant at the Electric Shop at Brigham Young University in 2015, where they assisted in maintaining elevators on campus.

In 2016, Prawitt gained experience as a Quality Control Engineer Intern at North American Arms, where they ensured the quality of parts produced in the machine shop and made improvements to processes and products.

Daniel then worked as a Research Assistant at the BYU Department of Mechanical Engineering from 2017 to 2018, where they wrote a research article on carbon nanotube patterning and developed an exposure time model for photolithography.

In 2018, Prawitt founded WanderStruck RV LLC, a small business where they learned about business strategies, market research, and customer relations. Concurrently, they also served as a Mechanical Engineer at Heat Source Energy, aiding in the design and prototyping of an ORC heat engine.

Prawitt joined Wencor Group in 2019 as a Project Engineer, taking ownership of aftermarket parts for aircraft hydraulic systems. This role involved utilizing reverse engineering processes to create high-quality parts.

In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Quality Engineer at Wencor Group, where they reduced project completion time by 50% through the implementation of software and automation.

In 2022, Prawitt served as a Partner and COO at Home Works Utah, a company that provided contractors with high-paying work and clients with quality customer service. Daniel implemented estimating software and streamlined processes for better efficiency.

Prawitt was a Consultant at DP Consulting and Contract Services from 2022 to 2023 before joining BLISSWAY as an Operations Engineer in 2023. The duration of their role at BLISSWAY is ongoing.

Daniel Prawitt completed their education at Brigham Young University from 2013 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Bountiful High School from 2008 to 2011 and obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on General Studies. In addition to their formal education, Daniel also pursued additional certifications. In April 2021, they obtained the AS9100 and ISO 9001 Internal Auditing certification from Alpha Training and Consulting. Daniel also completed the Advanced Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing certification from the same institution in the same month and year.
