Josh Wright

Josh Wright has had a varied and extensive career. Josh began their professional journey in 1999 as a Confectionary Cook at Brittles'N More. In 2004, they became a Server/Bartender at Moose Winooski's. In 2008, they took on the role of Financial Recruitment Consultant at Circle Square Consulting. In 2010, they began working at the University of Waterloo as Manager, Strategic Initiatives (Commercialization Office). Josh also worked at the Conrad Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Centre as Co-President of the Alumni Committee and Alumni & Intern Practicum Program Manager. Additionally, they worked at the Accelerator Centre as Director, Strategic Initiatives and Manager, Strategic Initiatives. In 2013, they became Co-Founder of blitzen and Director, Innovation Partnerships & Commercialization (Contract) at CommerceLab. Finally, in 2017, they became Client Sales Director at Axonify.

Josh Wright attended Elmira District Secondary School (EDSS) from 1998 to 2003, where they earned their high school degree. Josh then attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a BBA (Hons.) with a concentration in International Finance and a minor in Economics. In 2006 and 2007, they also attended EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, where they earned a Diplom Kaufmann (MBA Equivalent) in International Finance. From 2009 to 2010, they attended the University of Waterloo and earned an MBET in Master's of Business, Entrepreneurship & Technology. In 2014, they attended AngelPad and earned the Founder Alumni of AngelPad in Founder School Entrepreneurship.
