Katy Stead is currently the Head of Content Production & Development (bloc media) at Bloc Digital, a position they have held since 2020. Previously, they served as a PR Manager at FIG from 2018 to 2019 and as a Media and Communications Officer at Citizens Advice from 2015 to 2020. Katy also has extensive experience in the broadcast industry, having worked as a Multimedia Journalist for the BBC and Channel Four from 1994 to 2005, followed by a role as a Television Producer Director at the BBC until 2015. Additionally, they began their career as a Freelance Journalist & Programme Maker at KLS Media from 2002 to 2005. Katy is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Social Anthropology at The University of Hull.
