Block | Reid is a leading Chicago-based family law firm proudly serving clients throughout Cook, Lake, DuPage, Will, and McHenry Counties. For more than 45 years, we’ve provided strategic, compassionate representation in divorce and family law matters. With over 100 years of combined legal experience, our attorneys are known for delivering high-quality legal service grounded in integrity, preparation, and results.

We represent clients in all areas of family law, including contested and uncontested divorce, legal separation, child custody and parenting time (allocation of parental responsibilities), child support, spousal maintenance (alimony), property division, post-decree modifications, enforcement of judgments, civil unions, and paternity. We also handle collaborative divorce, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, mediation, and parental relocation. Our team regularly manages high-net-worth cases involving business ownership, real estate, investment accounts, and complex financial portfolios.

Our approach is centered on thorough case preparation, realistic guidance, and practical strategy. Whenever possible, we work to resolve disputes through thoughtful negotiation and settlement to minimize emotional strain and financial impact. However, when litigation becomes necessary, our attorneys are dynamic trial advocates who will fight vigorously to protect your rights in court.

Clients choose Hoffenberg & Block for our professionalism, legal acumen, and dedication to achieving meaningful results. We understand that family law matters are deeply personal, and we remain committed to helping our clients move forward with clarity and peace of mind.
